Does this cost extra?

No. Platform access is included with your MixShift subscription.

Which AI tools work with it?

The MixShift plugin works in Claude's Cowork app today. The underlying MCP server also accepts connections from ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, and any other MCP-compatible client, using one credential. The plain data API works from anything that can make web requests.

Do I need my own Amazon developer accounts?

No. That is most of the point. Your Amazon accounts are already authorized through MixShift, so you skip the Amazon developer application process, and there is no token plumbing to build or maintain.

Can the plugin change things in my ad account?

Not without you seeing it first. Any operation that would change something runs as a preview by default, and you confirm the exact change before it goes to Amazon. Every change is recorded in an audit trail.

Is my data safe?

You sign in with your MixShift account, and your credentials stay on the sign-in page; the plugin never sees your password. Access tokens are short-lived and refresh automatically. Each API credential is scoped to what it is allowed to see and do.

Who at my company can see what?

Everyone at your MixShift org sees the same brands once signed in. Per-user data scoping is not available today.

Are there usage limits?

Yes: 240 requests per minute per credential, and queries return up to 50,000 rows or 10 MB with a 120 second cap. These are generous for interactive use; if you hit them in an automation, batch your requests.
