Budget Balance
NEWA weekly pass over your Sponsored Products campaigns that sorts each one into raise, widen or cut, with a reason: efficient campaigns that run out of budget, efficient campaigns that underspend, and poor performers.
or just say “run a budget balance”
Comes with the plugin, one install activates every skill. See the install flow. Needs brand setup first.
Budgets drift away from performance. A campaign that converts well stops serving at noon because its budget ran out, while a campaign that wastes spend keeps all of its budget, and nobody has an hour every week to sort through each campaign to find which is which.
Every Sponsored Products campaign sorted into raise, widen or cut, each with a one-sentence reason built from its own numbers. No change is larger than your limit (25 percent by default) and no raise goes above the budget Amazon suggests. Changes preview first and are applied only after you confirm that exact set; a scheduled run files a proposal for a person to approve instead. Say “demo budget balance” and Claude walks you through it on your own account.
What your agent can do
- 01
Raise the budget of efficient campaigns that keep running out of it, never above the budget Amazon suggests
- 02
Flag efficient campaigns that underspend, so their bids rather than their budgets can be reviewed
- 03
Cut the budget of poor performers with real spend, within your limit
- 04
Preview every change first; nothing reaches Amazon until you confirm the exact set
- 05
Run on a schedule and file a proposal a person approves later
- 06
Walk through a guided demo on your own account that previews a change set and never sends it
Before you run
This skill reads a brand’s context to calibrate its output. Build it once per brand, then every teammate runs on the same shared context.
/mixshift-ai:mx-brand-context <brand>How brand setup works →- The ACoS target the buckets judge against
- The largest budget change allowed in one run (25 percent by default)
- How many of the last 14 days at the budget cap make a campaign a raise candidate
- The minimum spend before a poor performer can be cut
- How far over the target a campaign must run before it is cut
