AI Disclaimer
Last updated August 05, 2026
Dash Applications LLC, DBA MixShift (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses artificial intelligence and large language model technology across parts of our website at https://mixshift.ai (the “Site”) and our software products (together with the Site, the “Services”). This AI Disclaimer explains where AI is used, what its outputs are and are not, and the responsibilities that come with relying on those outputs. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to the terms below.
Where we use AI
AI is used in the following places today. We update this list as our Services change.
On the Site
- Shifty, the chat assistant on the Knowledge Base, is powered by a third-party large language model provider and answers questions using our documentation as context.
- Selected blog posts, newsletter issues, and Knowledge Base articles are drafted or edited with AI assistance and then reviewed by a member of the MixShift team before publication.
In our software
- The MixShift Plugin for Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, and other Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients uses your own AI provider account (Anthropic, OpenAI, and similar) to interpret your questions, generate SQL and API calls against your MixShift data, and return results in natural language. We do not train models on your data.
- Certain product features use AI to summarize reports, propose optimizations, and surface anomalies. Any change we would apply to an ad account is previewed to you first, and no operation reaches Amazon or another downstream service without your explicit confirmation.
Nature of AI outputs
AI outputs are generated by statistical models. They can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. They can also present incorrect information in a fluent and confident tone. You should not rely on AI outputs as a sole basis for any business, advertising, financial, legal, tax, or operational decision. Where an output cites a source (a doc, a page, a metric), verify that source directly before acting on it.
No professional advice
AI outputs on the Services are not, and are not intended to be, a substitute for professional advice. In particular, MixShift and its AI features do not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, or licensed professional advice. Amazon advertising strategies, bid recommendations, forecasts, and any other operational guidance produced with AI assistance are for informational purposes only. Consult a qualified professional before taking any action where such advice may be appropriate.
Human review and editorial oversight
Content published on the Site that was drafted or edited with AI assistance is reviewed by a person on the MixShift team before it is made public. Interactive AI features such as the Shifty chat assistant respond in real time and are not individually reviewed before you see them. Wherever an AI output appears without a human in the loop, we ask you to treat it as a starting point for your own judgment, not a final answer.
Data sent to AI providers
When you use an AI feature on the Site or in the Services, the content of your prompts and any context we send with them (for example, relevant Knowledge Base excerpts, or a summary of the reporting data you are asking about) is transmitted to the third-party AI provider that powers that feature. Providers are contractually restricted from training their models on our submissions unless we have separately opted in, and we do not opt in on your behalf. See our Privacy Policy for a broader description of how we handle your data.
Do not enter confidential customer data, personally identifiable information about individuals who have not consented, protected health information, or other regulated data into AI features unless your agreement with us and the applicable AI provider expressly permits it.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use AI outputs from the Services, including verifying facts, complying with the terms of any downstream platform (Amazon, Google, and others), respecting the privacy of your customers and employees, and following applicable laws in your jurisdiction. AI-generated Amazon advertising strategies, campaign changes, budget suggestions, and forecasts are guidance, not commands. You retain full decision-making authority over your advertising accounts and business.
No warranty, limitation of liability
AI features are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties regarding AI outputs, including warranties of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Under no circumstance shall we have any liability to you for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of your use of, or reliance on, any AI output. Your use of AI features is solely at your own risk.
Nothing in this AI Disclaimer excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes
We may update this AI Disclaimer from time to time as our use of AI evolves. The revised version will be effective as of the “Last updated” date shown above.
