Issue #11: build an AMC audience by describing it

Describe an audience in plain words and get it built, checked and created. Plus what shipped in 0.8.16.

Same shape as always: one skill to try, what we shipped, one question for you.

Try this this week: an AMC audience from one sentence

The problem. A client wants everyone who bought in the last year pushed to DSP, or lapsed buyers refreshed every week. In Amazon Marketing Cloud that means writing the audience query by hand, getting the syntax right, and finding out about a mistake only after a failed run.

The solution. As of Friday's release, MixShift builds and manages AMC audiences from a plain description. It writes the audience, runs automatic checks for the errors Amazon would only reject after a failed run, and creates it on your DSP advertiser or sponsored-ads account.

Try this: open Claude with the MixShift plugin and say:

"build an audience of everyone who bought in the last year and push it to DSP"

Name the brand and it works out the rest. For a rolling audience, try "lapsed buyers, 180 to 365 days ago, refreshed weekly". Deeper how-to lives in the knowledge base.

This week in MixShift

What we shipped Friday in 0.8.16. Full notes at mixshift.ai/releases.

1. See your live Amazon promotions

Ask which promotions are running or scheduled on your products and you get Amazon's current answer: coupons, deals, price discounts and basket-building offers, with each promotion's dates, discount, budget, the products it covers, and any problem Amazon has flagged. No report to request and wait for. Available for seller accounts.

Now you can: check a promotion before a client call instead of during it.

2. Forecasts inside the Monthly Performance Report Max

When a current forecast is available, the report can now include it and set actual results against the prediction.

Now you can: show a client where the month landed against where it was expected to land.

3. A clear read on who you are signed in as

MixShift can now show your current login, the tenant, the credential type, and when your token expires, without contacting any service.

Now you can: settle a "which account am I in?" question in seconds.

Current version is 0.8.16. To check, open the plugin and say "update the plugin" and the mx-update skill walks you through the steps for your surface.

What can we solve for you?

Reply to this email. It goes to MixShift, and every reply gets a personal answer. If we already solve your problem, we point you at the skill. If we build it, we ship it with your name on the release note.
