PPC Engine

Beta

Change Amazon Ads keyword bids, placement modifiers and campaign budgets from one table, with a review before anything is sent and a record of every change.

One sign-in at build.mixshift.ai opens the PPC Engine. The first time, MixShift asks you to approve the app.

Why it exists

Changing bids across hundreds of keywords and many campaigns usually means editing them one at a time in the ads console, or exporting a sheet, working out new bids and uploading it back. Either way it is hard to check the whole batch before it goes live, and hard to see afterwards who changed what.

What you get

One table for an account's keywords, placements and campaigns. Filter to the rows you care about, set new values by hand or with a formula, see exactly what will change before it is sent, and find every change afterwards in the Change log, with who made it and an Undo.

What it does today

  1. 01

Bulk keyword bids. Filter the Keywords table, select rows or every row the filter matches, and adjust by a percent, by a dollar amount, to a set bid, to the Amazon or MixShift recommendation, or with a formula: the current bid times a factor plus an amount, kept between a floor and a ceiling you set. You can also edit one bid in its row.

  2. 02

Review before you apply. The summary shows how many bids will change, how many are skipped and why, and the average new bid. Guardrails hold bids between a minimum and a maximum ($0.02 and $5.00 by default) and ask you to confirm a batch of more than 10 bids or one that lowers a bid by more than 30 percent. Each account sets its own values in Settings.

  3. 03

Placements and campaigns. Set placement modifiers campaign by placement, by hand, with a formula, or toward the suggestion for your target ACOS. On Campaigns, edit daily budgets and pause or enable campaigns; flags show campaigns that are out of budget, have no spend, sit above target, or have no target. Campaign changes go through review, a preview of the exact request, then commit.

  4. 04

A record of every change, with Undo. The Change log lists every change with what it replaced, who made it and the answer from Amazon, on tabs for keywords, placements and campaigns. Undo puts the earlier value back on a manual change.

Walmart Sponsored Search, too

The Walmart page works the same way for Walmart Sponsored Search: pick one of the advertisers linked to your organization, review keyword bids with their last 30 days of performance, change one or many bids, edit campaign daily budgets or pause and enable campaigns, preview the change, then send it. Changes are listed there so you can revert them.

Beta status and access

The PPC Engine is in beta and open to every organization. Features ship as they are ready; see Releases. Each organization's settings and change history are kept separately.

Every change starts with a person: you pick the rows and the rule, and you confirm before anything is sent.

  1. 01Sign in at build.mixshift.ai and open the PPC Engine.
  2. 02Pick an account at the top of the page. The PPC Engine lists the accounts MixShift finds for your organization.
  3. 03Filter to the rows you want, set the change, review the summary, and confirm.

Questions, or the PPC Engine is not showing for you? Talk to us, or use Feedback in the bar at the top of the app. A person at MixShift reads every note and replies.
